Common side effects

Hematologic: Lymphopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, leukopenia
Digestive: Diarrhea, nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, stomatitis
Dermatological: Rash, dry skin, nail poisoning, itching
Various rashes (generalized, erythematous, macular, maculo-papular, papular, pustular), erythema, folliculitis, acne, dermatitis, and acneiform dermatitis
Dry skin includes eczema, chapped skin and xerosis
Nail and nail disorders, onychomycosis, onychomycosis, nail pain, nail discoloration, nail Tagrix 80 Mg (Osimertinib) dystrophy, nail infection, nail peeling, onychomycosis, onychomycosis, onychomycosis, and paronychia
Metabolic: Hyponatremia, hyperkalemia
Eyes: Eye disorders including dry eyes, blurred vision, keratitis, cataracts, eye irritation, blepharitis, eye pain, increased lacrimation and lens floaters
Respiratory: Cough
Musculoskeletal: Back pain
Nervous system: Headache
Cardiovascular: Cardiomyopathy
Other: venous thrombosis including deep vein thrombosis, jugular vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism
Call your doctor at once if you have any of these conditions while using Tagrix:

Shortness of breath even with mild exertion;
Rapid heartbeat or palpitations.
Swelling, rapid weight gain; or new or worsening lung symptoms – sudden chest pain or discomfort, wheezing, dry cough, feeling short of breath.
Drug interactions Tagrix 80mg
Avoid taking Tagrix 80mg osimertinib concomitantly with strong CYP3A inhibitors

Includes macrolide antibiotics (eg, Telithromycin).
Antifungal drugs: traconazole
Antiviral drugs (eg, Ritonavir), Nefazodone.
Co-administration of strong CYP3A inhibitors with Tagrix may increase Osimertinib plasma concentrations.

If no other alternatives are available, monitor patients more closely for adverse reactions to Tagrix 80mg.

Avoid concomitant use of Tagirx with strong CYP3A inducers

Phenytoin, Rifampicin, Carbamazepine, St. John's Wort are strong CYP3A inducers. These drugs may decrease the plasma concentrations of Tagrix.
Tagrix 80mg affects other drugs

Avoid concomitant use of Tagrix 80mg with drugs sensitive to CYP3A.
Breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) or CYP1A2 with a narrow therapeutic index.
Including but not limited to Fentanyl, Cyclosporin, Quinidine, Ergot Alkaloids, Phenytoin, Carbamazepine. May cause overdose requiring close monitoring when using these drugs.
Precautions for Tagrix 80mg
QTc interval prolongation with Tagrix

QTc interval prolongation has occurred in patients treated with TAGRIX. QTc interval prolongation may lead to an increased risk of ventricular tachyarrhythmias.
Using Tagrix in pregnancy

There are no or limited amount of data from the use of tagrix 80mg in pregnant women. Animal studies have shown reproductive toxicity.
